GRIND PULP PODCAST
will
take you on a roller-coaster ride through a maniacal funhouse of eldritch horrors and blazing laser swords. We dig our teeth into gutsy genre stories and movies that aren't afraid to take on a gang of vampire nuns.

Welcome to the first Grind Pulp Podcast. If you're a first time listener, we highly reccomend that you don't start with this episode. It took us about 4-5 episodes to get the feel for things. From there, we have gotten even more acclimated to wild world of podcasting. Episode 13 is where we picked up Manga Matt. James Malone's final appearance in our first year was on Episode 11 - Ghoulies Gone Wild.

We'd like you to start at around Episode 5 or 6 and listen as our production becomes better up through our current output. After that, come back to see how it all started.

For those who insist on beginning here, we'll forgive you, but remember that we had no idea what we were doing.

Fast forward a year and you'll find that we are still learning and honing and working to improve Grind Pulp Podcast. Thanks!

  1. Cool podcast, guys. Loved the review. You guys definitely nailed it. I had a fun time writing Samaritan, originally for startling Stories Magazine back in 2007 and then polishing it up for the ebook release. As a Star Trek fan, I had a blast doing a Trek-style story.

Thanks again for checking it out.

  2. A really entertaining first episode, gentlemen. I'm really thrilled and excited that there's a new podcast discussing Classic Pulp, New Pulp and related topics. Hell, when I heard you were talking about BIG TROUBLE IN LITTLE CHINA I was in. That's one of my favorite movies of all time and one that was made perhaps 20 years ahead of it's time. But next time you guys watch it, look at it in this context: it's Dennis Dun's Wang who is the actual hero of the movie. Jack Burton is his bumbling sidekick but Jack's too egotistically dense to realize this. He thinks he's the hero.

Again, a great opening episode and I look forward to listening to more in the near future. Happy trails, ya'll.
